ხშირად ვოცნებობ და შევსცქერი ცას,
ვეძებ უხილავს, ვუცდი ვიღაცას.
მე ვმღერი მაშინ და მთრთოლვარე ხმას
სევდით ვუერთებ ჩამქრალ გულის თქმას!
ჩემს გულში ვეძებ ვარსკვლავებს, მთვარეს,
მეგობრებს, სატრფოს ეშხით მღელვარეს;
არ ანათებენ ისინი ჩემს გულს,
არ-ღა მომფენენ შვებას, სიხარულს.
ბნელდება მთვარე, თრთის ვარსკვლავი ცის
და ძირს ეშვება ოცნება სივრცის...
