Auch am Abend hat sich nichts gebessert
Morgen ist und Mittag jetzt verbraucht
Ach, wir haben unser Meer verwässert?
Und das Meer war einst, so sagt man jetzt, erlaucht!

Ja, wir haben jetzt bald kein Gesicht mehr
Sind verstummt, nicht mangels Arschs noch Munds
Dieses Land legt auf uns kein Gewicht mehr
Und die Städte sind noch nicht für uns.

Doch wer freut sich nachts nicht eines Daches?
Und uns ziemt zu leben ungehemmt
Früh im Rausch das Elend treffend, sprach es:
Ach, wir sind einander völlig fremd.
