| Roses written by Frederic Edward Weatherly |
| 1905 |
I send thee red, red roses,
To tell the of the morn,
When first among the roses
Our happy love was born.
I send thee white, white roses,
To tell the of the night,
The night in all its beauty,
With all its dreams and light.
And when thou seest the roses,
This will the roses say,
There is no day without thee,
No night when thou'rt away.
No day I do not love thee,
No night I do not pray
That God wil bless and guard thee,
For ever, night and day!
