I think works of this author, died 1938, are PD-Old-70, not PD-Canada or CC-BY-NC. Thus, they probably could be moved to ru.source - ??? -jkb- 23:21, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- According to present Russian copyright law, authors repressed in the USSR in 1920s—1950s become PD 70 years from the date of rehabilitation, not death (if rehabilitated posthumously). Kornilov was only rehabilitated in 1957. — Lozman 00:08, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Wow! I didn't know this §. I added a copyright notice there, please see if it is OK in this way. Probably this notice should be made in all his works. -jkb- 08:55, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Nevertheless, in the English Wikipedia I read: "For posthumously published works, copyrights were defined to last until fifty years after the publication,[57] and for posthumously rehabilitated authors, the fifty-year term began running at the date of the rehabilitation.[58]" - see en.wp:Copyright law of the Russian Federation#Duration of copyrights, i.e. 50 years after rehabilited, not 70 years. ? -jkb- 09:26, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
