Not quite sure if the transcription Hohlov fits. The Chech one is - according to the Russian one - Chochlov, the German will be Chochlov or Chochlow... What is the common transcription of Х = Ch in Russian? -jkb- 13:52, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

We decided to use English as the author page title when the site went multilingual. At that time I advocated to use the name in the country of origin.

Sorry if I interfere, but direct transliteration of "Николай Иванович Хохлов" from Russian into English is exactly "Nikolai Ivanovich Khokhlov". Any others should be regarded as local (language-dependent) variants. — Lozman 00:41, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
