Hello,

That's a very nice idea! Please go ahead. Yann 04:38, 20 April 2008 (EDT)

However, I would like to ask if the traditional and simplified Chinese converter used on Chinese Wikisource, Wikipedia, and similar sites can be brought here. Pending that, I will start a traditional Chinese Main Page first while most articles on Chinese Wikisource are in traditional characters. When ws:user:ThomasV used a bot to help split pages into Wikisource language subdomains, he could not distinguish Chinese and Japanese, so I helped splitting. When he asked me if separate subdomains would be wanted for the traditional and simplified Chinese, I desired only one subdomain with the converter. This is why I talk about this.--Jusjih 15:24, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
The converter is not installed, but I will look at it. Yann 16:26, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
To reduce the burden of manual conversion and be more specific, I would like to have the converter used on Chinese Wikisource brought here to focus on words but not compounds. The converter used on Chinese Wikipedia also converts compounds used in different Chinese-speaking areas, i.e., China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia, but this is less of a concern here and on Chinese Wikisource. As I am less familiar with MediaWiki, I need someone who knows it better. Finally, what should I do to someday become an administrator here? Make some activities here first?--Jusjih 16:52, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
I added ZH for interwiki links into the database, but it doesn't work yet. For all translated page, you can add a redirect like Main English Page/zh and there will be an automatic redirect if you set you language to zh: Yann 18:43, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
I do not fully understand what does not work, so please clarify. I am testing using Chinese interface so the navigation bar and relevant frames show Chinese. When you know the answer, I would like to know if it is possible to bring the Chinese converter from Chinese Wikisource. For the Chinese interface, Chinese Wikisource has extra tabs to choose non-converted, traditional, or simplified Chinese. As I can read both traditional and simplified Chinese, I choose non-converted Chinese as the default language. After all, letting me know the answer of the feasibility to add the Chinese converter will allow me to better introduce this site to Chinese Wikisource users while I plan to evacuate works by authors who died in 1946 or later. Thanks.--Jusjih 21:00, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Notifications

Yann, I noticed that I stopped to receive the notifications about the changes on my User talk page.I don't know why. Dmitrismirnov 14:11, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

Bernard Shaw's Works, Vol. II

Yann: Geneva seems complete to me. Please review it and make whatever changes you deem desireable. I'll add it to the New Works list now. Wugo 18:31, 14 May 2008 (EDT)

Saint Joan is complete and added to the list of new works. I included the Program Note by scanning from the text; it was omitted from Gutenberg version. Please alter this contribution in any way you consider beneficial. Wugo 18:19, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

Too True to Be Good is finished. --Wugo 00:03, 20 May 2008 (EDT)

How These Doctors Love One Another! is finished. It is a minor essay and not a playlet, despite descriptions elsewhere. --Wugo 15:39, 20 May 2008 (EDT)

I have added On the Rocks to the Shaw collection. --Wugo 00:28, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

Also The Simpleton of the Unexpected Isles--Wugo 22:12, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

The Six of Calais as well.--Wugo 21:45, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

and Cymbeline Refinished--Wugo 18:11, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

In Good King Charles's Golden Days is done.--Wugo 23:45, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

So is Playlet On The British Party System--Wugo 16:26, 26 May 2008 (EDT)

Yann— I have supplied the missing text in The Apple Cart subpages. They are fragments of an interview and should be together on a single page. I will do so at first opportunity, probably later on this day. Thank you for calling this matter to my attention.--Wugo 10:02, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
I combined The Apple Cart interviews to make a single page. The old subpages remain, but now are hidden. I'll wait for you approval before deleting them.--Wugo 15:13, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
The hidden pages in The Apple Cart are now emptied and deleted. I found other errors in the play and fixed them. The play was contributed in April, while I was still a raw beginner. I will review all my early contributions and edit them as needed.--Wugo 22:02, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
I revisited all my contributions and corrected all the errors I discovered. There were many, but most of them were minor and easily repaired.
Your new PD-Icon, will be very useful.--Wugo 14:30, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

Farfetched Fables added to the Shaw collection. Only Wikilivres has an online version.--Wugo 17:19, 5 June 2008 (EDT)

Why She Would Not is now in the list of Shaw's plays. This play is incomplete because Shaw died while writing it.--Wugo 19:01, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

Importing possible?

I would like to ask if it is possible to import the edit history from Wikisource when moving articles acceptable here but not there. If not possible, shall we note the original Wikisource edit history in the talk pages here to comply with GFDL? I ask this as mere cut-and-paste without noting the original edit history when transwikiing could be a GFDL violation.

I would also like to know if a Chinese converter can or cannot be used here.--Jusjih 21:59, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

I upgraded the wiki, but it seems that the converter doesn't work on a multilingual wiki. Maybe you could ask a dev some more information about that, because I was not able to get any. Regards, Yann 18:43, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I am unsure which developer to ask, but I can forget the concern of a Chinese converter. Only a few pages will be moved from Chinese Wikisource to this site when they are PD in Greater China but copyrighted in the USA. I have not heard of other Chinese users here. However, I would still like to know if importing is possible. Merci.--Jusjih 00:59, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much for granting me adminship. With importing possible, a few works by Chinese authors He Kequan, Li Youyuan, and Yang Huan, who died between 1950 and 1957, have been brought here while their works do not seem to fit in Chinese Wikisource. The next stage will be importing works by Chinese authors who died between 1946 and 1949 if their works do not fit in Wikisource.--Jusjih 02:59, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler

Yann! Wikisource comunity decided to delete the Russian translations of Mein Kampf (a formal cause is а copyright violation). Now arise a question to move the text to Wikilivres or not to move. Are you want shelter this text? What's your opinion? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 06:44, 5 June 2008 (EDT)

Sorry, I don't want to host this text. Thanks for asking. Yann 03:53, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
Ok, i will translate your answer to Wikisource disscussion. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 05:05, 9 June 2008 (EDT)

Viï

VIÏ — this looks strange, I would prefer Viï. Dmitrismirnov 05:44, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

I renamed this work. Thanks, Yann 09:18, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

Template:A-ru

Good news! Now all pages with Template:A-ru was migrated to Template:AA. Also i deleted the template. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 08:46, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

Thanks a lot! Yann 08:51, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

Common.js et les boutons de qualité

Salut,

Wikilivres:Painters

Do you mean "Artists"? By the way we already have a category for the Artists. Probably would be better have one either "Artists" or "Painters" to be more consistent? Dmitrismirnov 10:20, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Author pages localization

Yann, when i translated MediaWiki:Village pump/ru, i have a idea. Let's create several items in MediaWiki-namespace for a sections of a author pages like:

and so forth.

And if a author page include =={{int:Works}}==, then a user will see «Works», «Œuvres» or «Сочинения» depending on selected language in preferences. Are you agree? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 12:23, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Great idea! I didn't know this would work. It opens quite a lot of possibilities. Yann 13:04, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I knew about this possibility recently too. ;-) -- Sergey kudryavtsev 13:24, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Can you list a MediaWiki-items names to create? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 13:27, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, see Wikilivres:Community_Portal-en#Localization. Listed them there so that everybody knows. Yann 13:33, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Maurice Leblanc

Media Wiki

Yann, could you explain in a couple of words the reason for these changes {{int:Works}} or {{int:English translations}} and how the "Media Wiki" functions. I have no idea what it is about... Yours, Dmitrismirnov 07:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Dmitry, this mechanism is explained in the section "Author pages localization" above. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 10:49, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Time out

I am off for 12 days. Will be back on 14th. All the best Dmitrismirnov 20:13, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Desire Under the Elms

Hi Yann,

This is David from the WMF accounts; John pointed me here a few weeks ago. I have a clean copy of Desire Under the Elms that I scanned and proofed about 14 years ago while working a production of the play. This was for the internal use of the production. John says it's under copyright in US but not Canada and Australia and that it would be usable here. So I'm offering it. It's a Word doc (way-old WinWord v2.0), but I can easily export it in another format. Anyway, I saw this link on Giggy's talk page and recalled the earlier talk.

It's written in Yankee.

PART TWO
Scene One

The exterior of the farmhouse, as in Part One—a hot Sunday afternoon two months later. ABBIE, dressed in her best, is discovered sitting in a rocker at the end of the porch. She rocks listlessly, enervated by the heat, staring in front of her with bored, half-closed eyes.

EBEN sticks his head out of his bedroom window. He looks around furtively and tries to see—or hear—if anyone is on the porch, but although he has been careful to make no noise, ABBIE has sensed his movement. She stops rocking, her face grows animated and eager, she waits attentively. EBEN seems to feel her presence, he scowls back his thoughts of her and spits with exaggerated disdain—then withdraws back into the room. ABBIE waits, holding her breath as she listens with passionate eagerness for every sound within the house.

EBEN comes out. Their eyes meet. His falter, he is confused, he turns away and slams the door resentfully. At this gesture, ABBIE laughs tantalizingly, amused but at the same time piqued and irritated. He scowls, strides off the porch to the path and starts to walk past her to the road with a grand swagger of ignoring her existence. He is dressed in his store suit, spruced up, his face shines from soap and water. ABBIE leans forward on her chair, her eyes hard and angry now, and, as he passes her, gives a sneering, taunting chuckle.

EBEN (stung—turns on her furiously) What air yew cacklin’ ’bout?

ABBIE (triumphant) Yew!

EBEN What about me?

ABBIE Ye look all slicked up like a prize bull.

EBEN (with a sneer) Waal—ye hain’t so durned purty yerself, be ye? (They stare into each other’s eyes, his held by hers in spite of himself, hers glowingly possessive. Their physical attraction becomes a palpable force quivering in the hot air)

ABBIE (softly) Ye don’t mean that, Eben. Ye may think ye mean it, mebbe, but ye don’t. Ye can’t. It’s agin nature, Eben. Ye been fightin’ yer nature ever since the day I come—tryin’ t’ tell yerself I hain’t purty t’ye. (She laughs a low humid laugh without taking her eyes from his. A pause—her body squirms desirously—she murmurs languorously) Hain’t the sun strong an’ hot? Ye kin feel it burnin’ into the earth—Nature makin’ thin’s grow—bigger ’n’ bigger—burnin’ inside ye—makin’ ye want t’ grow—into somethin’ else—till ye’re jined with it—an’ it’s your’n—but it owns ye too—an’ makes ye grow bigger—like a tree—like them elums—(She laughs again softly, holding his eyes. He takes a step toward her, compelled against his will) Nature ’ll beat ye, Eben. Ye might’s well own up t’ it fust ’s last.

p.s. I've got to go — evening here — will check back. Cheers, Jack Merridew 13:33, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Good, go ahead! Yann 16:22, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
See the non-redlink. Sorry for the delay; real-life. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:54, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Ya, it is the complete text, and, 14 years ago, I proofed it against the book quite thoroughly. I don't know the exact details of the book I worked from; it was a library book — a collection of O'Neill's works (likely a selection, not complete). It was a rather old book then and it was printed in a small, serif typeface, two columns per page. In the original OCR output there were many mistakes along the lines of famn instead of farm. I fixed those, but a few such errors may remain. This was also proofed by the actors and production crew in the course of their work and I fixed anything folks told me about.

This should likely be broken into subpages, but I figure it's easier to tweak the formatting with it in one piece. Once things settle out, I'll paste the scenes out. Thanks for the tweaks. Cheers, Jack Merridew 07:20, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Imported Chinese works

I have imported several Chinese works whose authors died since 1946. I just found one work published in 1922 whose author Zhu Ziqing died in 1948. As it is acceptable on Wikisource, I have deleted the duplicate here as I see no deletion policy here. As I have not used here a lot, I wonder if the author pages have better layout suggestion when linking internally and to Wikisource. Thanks.--Jusjih 02:50, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Help

Hello,Yann. Would you please help me with adding and editing texts - I can't make head or tail of it :) What is the operating procedure, which buttons are to be pressed?.. Yours thankfully, Anna Pavlova

LilyPond

Do you know that the most LilyPond in Wikilivres files show an error? --Dmitrismirnov 13:05, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

No, I don't know. I will try to update the extension. Yann 13:09, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

tweaked the main page

Hi. I was just passing by and noticed that the main page was not validating, so I fixed it; it was a misplaced </div> and the use of 'px' on an html attribute. I did a more serious tweaking of the tet:wp main page the other day. Cheers, Jack Merridew 07:21, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Opps, I tweaked it again. I cut a float:left that was causing old IE to sort of merge the gray cells together; it was not really needed. If this merging was an intended effect, it was not working on real browsers. Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Planning to transfer a video with The Internationale modern lyric by Billy Bragg

We have an image copyright dispute at Commons deletion request. Because the video contains Billy Bragg's modern lyrics of The Internationale, it was once deleted properly when copyright permission was not received yet. After I got the permission statement, it said:

"I can give you permission to reproduce the lyrics and Billy is happy for them to be used, but neither of us can be bothered with loads of copyright stuff, especially with this song, which is written to be sung collectively.

I hope anyone who uses it commercially will give us some money, and that if anyone records the song it will have to be cleared through normal channels."

I forwarded the message to Wikimedia Commons OTRS and an OTRS volunteer told me the permission not compatible with GFDL, so he would not log the Ticket#2008110810002939 . This is why I would like to ask you if we can bring that video here as with non-commercial copyright license. Please email me as soon as possible, so I can forward my received email to you as evidence, as we and our fellow administrators here have no access to Wikimedia OTRS. Thanks.--Jusjih 23:02, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I think this permission is compatible with CC-BY-NC, so you can upload the video with that license. Also there is no copyright on the Internationale in Canada, so no problem with that. Yann 23:23, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
I tried to bring that video in, but it failed. Would you please try it? Please also consider clicking on my email link from my user page, so when I get your email, I will be able to forward my received copyright permission. Meanwhile, I am adding a new page of Billy Bragg's lyrics in a stand-alone page.--Jusjih 02:14, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Done. There was effecticely a problem, but I don't know why. I did it indirectly and it worked. Yann 10:25, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Can you play the video in your computer? Our image description page cannot display how many minutes and seconds the video has as on Wikimedia Commons. Nor does ours display an introducing image as on Commons and Wikipedia like en.wp:The_Internationale#English_lyrics while my adding the video link at The Internationale (Bragg) shows no image nor its description.--Jusjih 04:19, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Commons and Wikipedia have a Java tool to play videos. I have to check if it can be installed and enabled here. Yann 09:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Renaming this site?

As Wikilivres may also mean French Wikibooks, is there any plan to rename this site? Until there is a clear answer to this, I am very reluctant to ask my fellow Chinese Wikisource users how to name this site in Chinese. If we are to bring in Not-PD-US-URAA images here, we better think of something like CommonsHelper tool. I also look forward to seeing the set-up of Wikimedia Canada. --Jusjih 04:19, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

It seems that Wikimedia Canada is stalled. I was waiting for the creation of the chapter before deciding anything about renaming, because they would obviously have a word to say if the chapter takes over the site. I don't know what to do now. What do you suggest? Yann 09:51, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Then postpone renaming and I will just use "Wikilivres" in Chinese. I do not want to ask for its Chinese name and then ask again after renaming. There seems to be very few Chinese users here, but please keep me posted if any news. Thanks.--Jusjih 11:09, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Template:PD-manifesto and Chinese Wikisource

I would like to ask you about this template as I have fellow Chinese Wikisource users disputing the copyright status of Charter 08. I think that public manifestos and speeches made in tangible forms like printed or recorded items would generally be copyrightable and commercial uses without prior clearance may be illegal. If Chinese Wikisource later decides to ban public manifestos and speeches that can be tagged nothing but PD-manifesto, please reply when convenient if my bringing them here may cause any problems to you. Thanks.--Jusjih 05:07, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

It is true that the copyright status of manifestos is disputed. However legal risk over them is quite nul, so there is no problem to host this manifesto. Regards, Yann 10:39, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Bot/ocr

Bonjour,

Merci. Théétète 15:45, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Localization

Yann, i change {{PD-Canada}} and {{PD-Canada-Author}}. Check please. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 17:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Good job! Yann 21:46, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
I plan to change a other common templates in same manner. I reccomend to use {{PD-Canada-xx}} and {{PD-Canada-Author-xx}} for a language-dependent messages in a new article. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 07:30, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Proofread extension fault

I try to use the proofread extension (e.g. Page:Гейне - Путешествие по Гарцу (перевод Зоргенфрея).djvu/14), but i not see a image at right side. Why? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 17:06, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello,
Yes, there is a problem with this extension. I am looking at it. Yann 17:18, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Can i hope that a problem will be fixed within the next few days? Otherwise i will prepare this text locally... -- Sergey kudryavtsev 14:11, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
I can't find where the problem comes. I need some help from a developer who knows how the Webstore extension works. If I don't get it, I will upgrade to the 1.14 version that will be available soon. Yann 18:31, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Trois petites choses

Bonjour Yann,

  • le bouton Texte centré donne <div style="text-align: center;">, aul lieu de <div style="text-align: center;"> (la différence est visible en éditant ce texte);
  • le tiret présent dans les caractères spéciaux ne permet de faire des lignes continues ; il y a en revanche un autre tiret que l'on trouve dans les caractères spéciaux de Wikisource, tout à droite de Filet, et ce tiret fait des lignes continues ;
Yann 23:40, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Cordialement, --Arcane17 14:37, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

cs

Hi. Just going to start some contributions and edits in Czech as I think i will find some pages :-)... Some questions:

  1. I guess the interwiki links to the Czech projects like cs.ws and cs.wp do not function, they are neither listed in Wikilivres:Interwiki. I suppose this could be changed in a $wg page in the php.file. Who could do that?
  2. probably the same with the import

I start preparing the Czech main page etc., but I can help if there is something to do with the German pages as well. Regards, -jkb- 16:16, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi Yann and thanks, now I can work a bit. Was it a change in the LocalSettins as I supposed? Anyway, peau a peau i will prepare a new Czech section for contributions. Regards, -jkb- 14:33, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Template Page

Bonjour Yann. Αβ 18:13, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Pierre Marteau 19:06, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Cordialement, Yann 19:24, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Pierre Marteau 19:36, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

PD-Icon

Bonjour Yann. Voici {{PD-Icon}} :
PD Flag of Canada.png (1)
Je te propose de le modifier en :
PD Flag of Canada.png (?)

Αβ 09:40, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

OK, très bien. Yann 20:13, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Questions diverses

Bonjour. Peux-tu effacer {{titleXS}} {{titleS}} {{titleM}} {{titleL}} {{titleXL}} que j'ai créés puis avantageusement remplacés par {{headline}}. Merci.

Regarde User:Yann/monobook.css.

Αβ 14:37, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Je ne sais pas où est la doc, mais c'est simple. Regarde Wikilivres:Localization. Yann 18:04, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Administrateur

Αβ 11:45, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Les Thibault

Bonjour. Hello! How to handle with a pseudonyms in {{AA}} (e.g. Teffi)? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 11:11, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

sorry, just a hint: in the cs.source once I made a special row for it in the infobox, just "alternate name" or pseudonym, see e.g. cs.ws:Autor:Jiří Třanovský in the second row. From the alternate name there should be a redirect to the real name. Could be made here by name (pseudonym). -jkb- 12:01, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

imagemap

Hi. Another question. Since yesterday I have the feeling that the function "imagemap" does not work here. It is not very important - either I don't mind or I can install here some two old templates that will do (nearly) the same. Just a question if it will/could be installed or not. Wikilivres:About & Footer

Bonjour Yann. Αβ 12:13, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Works with legal rather than authors' authorization to republish

I write you as I see some works on English and Chinese Wikisources proposed for deletion for copyright disputes involving legal rather than authors' authorization to republish. Please see en.ws:Wikisource:Possible_copyright_violations#Copyright_Law_of_the_Democratic_People.27s_Republic_of_Korea as I wonder if applying Article 32 of the Copyright Law of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to bring the translation to Canadian Wikilivres as a work with non-commercial permission is OK for our Canadian site. Several Chinese pages also have similar situation as the authorization to republish on Internet is based on Chinese legal regulation rather than the author's permission. Your answer is appreciated before I bring the works in questions, though I consider the legal risk as nul as PD-manifesto.--Jusjih 03:51, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

P.S. As you asked me about Special:Contributions/Georgezhao, most are just duplicates of Chinese Wikisource articles when the user did not know not cross-posting. I will delete the duplicates soon.--Jusjih 03:51, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

about this project

Hi. As far as I can see there are no articles about Wikilivres on the different Wiki domains. And, if there are some ones, they redirect to Wikibooks. Is it a policy? Thanks, -jkb- 14:03, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Tja. I know the problem "notability". Every new porno stralet casting in one 5 minutes film is notable. Important films etc. are not. Nevertheless, I think I would try to do something on the German WP. But, I am afraid, my background knowledges about the project are not quite enough. Therefore I wrote something like a draft in English, se User:-jkb-/draft. Have a look at it and let me know, 1. if you think we could dosomething like that, and 2. if yeas so be free and change whatever you think it must be changed. I will translate it later and we'll see. Regards, -jkb- 12:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Well, OK, I can accept that what you answered on my page. But I see one point: Either if you will promote WL as an addition to WS or as an alternative to Commons or something else - it will be hardly to do if nobody knows about it. Sometimes, after I started to work here, I had the feeling that WL is something conspirative or clandestine... No links to it, no links from the author pages on WS or WP where we have some texts. Commons, OK, they have a very strong PD-old system. That could work (when the images here could be used in WP projects). But the same: nobody knows that something like L exists. This was the basic Idea of my question and the draft. Regards, -jkb- 19:06, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Courrier sud

Bonjour. Doit-on l'effacer ?

Tag math

Hello, Yann! I tried to copy the ru.ws:Шаблон:lbrace and ru.ws:Шаблон:rbrace here, but have an error in result about «\begin{align}». This is a sample of left brace:

Failed to parse (unknown function\begin): \left\{ \begin{align} \, \\ \, \end{align} \right.

Why? -- Sergey kudryavtsev 20:16, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

I don't know why there is this error. It is the first time that I see a compatibility issue with the Math mode. The reason is probably that our Mediawiki version is older than Wikisource's. I will try to update it. Yann 23:32, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

I realize this templates using \begin{matrix} instead of \begin{align}. Look at {{lbrace}} and {{rbrace}}. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 08:08, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Merci.

Georgian imports

Hi. I have started to import the texts from Oldwikisource, the list can be seen on the page User:-jkb-/Import Tabidze where there is a to do section as well. I will invite some Georgian editors to help and cooperate here as there is a lot things to be changed. My question is: we shall have some 240 Georgian imported here, so might be it could be of benefit when we localize some parametres used in the templates into Georgian (like written by, Works, etc.). It is not too much, and I could do that in cooperation with one of the editors. Let me know please, and have a nice new year 2010, regards -jkb- 18:26, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
