- Mikhail Lermontov (1814 — 1841). Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov (October 15 [O.S. October 3] 1814 — July 27 [O.S. July 15] 1841), a Russian Romantic writer and poet, sometimes called "the poet of the Caucasus", was the most important presence in Russian poetry after Alexander Pushkin's death until his own death in a duel four years later, at the age of 26. ~ Biography

Mikhaïl Iourievitch Lermontov (15 octobre 1814 — 27 juillet 1841), poète et romancier russe, souvent appelé le « poète du Caucase », naquit à Moscou d’ascendance écossaise (de la famille Learmount), mais appartenait à une famille respectable de la province de Tula et grandit dans le village de Tarkhanui, qui préserve ses restes.
